Scope: To Install ventilation, extract ducts, steel work and brackets. Then insulate with different specifications using fire wool, Kingspan and glass wool insulation, followed by proclad.
The multi discipline 4-man team used Rope access and Rigging techniques with a powered thirty metre winch and chain blocks to install an air conditioning riser, fireproofed smoke extract riser, cyclone kitchen smoke extract and a Fire escape smoke extract riser. We followed strict direction from the client throughout. The shoes were cut by the rope access team and installed and re lagged at the joints.
The fire protection riser were all heavy lifts due to being pre insulated for ease of installation.
