Welding Habitat Solutions

The only patented Habitat system in the UK to have a fully automatic ignition shutdown to assist with hot work projects.

In a positive pressure Habitat, the overpressure is used to prevent ingress of potentially explosive substances and gases. Hot work such as fibre splicing, welding, grinding, cutting and sandblasting can be carried out in areas otherwise considered as hazardous. This allows the execution of hot work during regular operation of oil and gas installations and plants.

The unique automatic ignition shutdown system is a self monitoring system with an automatic shutdown in the event of a failure in components. The automatic shutdown system is initiated when an alarm is triggered due to indicators such as gas, temperature or pressure.

The Flexi Habitat system ranges from 2m³ to 1500m³ and has been tested and verified by DNV, SIRIM and NENCO. It has a proven track record both onshore and offshore with operators such as BP, Shell and Statoil.

Our experience combined with market leading equipment when it comes to scalability, flexibility and capacity makes us able to put together a complete project package for the client, with a focus on cost, safety and effectivity.

No matter the challenge or the scope, we will always strive to give the customer the best possible solution for their project.
